OutBack's latest VFXR Series Grid/Hybrid inverter/chargers deliver the most cutting-edge features on the industry's most powerful and well-proven platform. The VFXR Grid/Hybrid inverter/chargers, which can run off-grid or grid-connected in one model, provide system designers with unrivaled versatility and compatibility for nearly any power conversion scenario.


OPTICS RE, which allows you to monitor and power your computer from anywhere, can be mounted using VFXR inverter/chargers and a MATE3. With power ranges ranging from 2000W to 3600W, multiple units can be stacked and combined with other OutBack Power electronics for more seamless system integration and the ability to operate in a wide variety of applications and system sizes. Up to nine inverters can be combined in a 3-phase configuration with the 12V, 24V, or 48V models, and up to 36kW in a grid-tied 24V or 48V setup. Thanks to the exclusive modular unit architecture, increased power output is just a VFXR inverter/charger away.


The VFXRs are available in sealed or vented units with NEMA type 1 die-cast aluminum chassis made to operate in the harshest environmental environments, such as high temperatures, humidity, or corrosive salt air, and continue OutBack's tradition of absolute dependability in mission-critical installations, regardless of how harsh or demanding the conditions are.


Features

  • Flexible - The seven programmable modes include GridZero and Support Mode, as well as built-in networked communications. Single-phase 120V sinewave generators are available in 12V, 24V, and 48V versions. Up to 93 % operating efficiency.
  • Reliable - Thanks to extended charging voltages and time parameters, Advanced Battery Charging (ABC) helps system manufacturers to accommodate the diverse charging profiles and algorithms of modern and emerging energy storage technologies such as Lithium-Ion, Aqueous Ion, and Flow chemistry batteries.
  • User Friendly - The device is easily upgradeable in the field. Up to nine three-phase inverters and ten grid-tied inverters can be stacked in this modular, stackable design. Seven different modes can be programmed with Generator Assist. The standard warranty is five years, with a ten-year warranty offered as an alternative.
