The Ilsco SGB-4 grounding lug is manufactured from high strength 6061-T6 aluminum alloy, and Electro-tin plated with stainless steel hardware for corrosion resistance, greater torque and ease of installation. Green colored hardware provides a universal way to identify ground aids in visual inspections. These are a lay-in type lug suitable for use with either copper or aluminum. These lugs provide low contact resistance and feature serrations in the conductor wire way to cut oxidation.

These are great for grounding solar panels which may not be oriented correctly to work with the standard solar panel ground lug holes since no hole is needed. These applications typically include pole mounted solar arrays, ground mounted solar arrays and non-typical roof layouts. Note: 1/4" max frame thickness to mount to solar panel frames (this is in reference to the solar panel frame "lip", not the total module thickness).

UL Listing and Test Conditions Include:

• Tested to ASTM B117-09 for operating in a salt spray (fog) environment.
