As an alternative to data transmission via Ethernet or WLAN, the SMA Cellular LTE Modem Kit enables direct data transmission from the Sunny Boy inverter to the cloud-based Sunny Portal via a cellular network. The SMA Cellular LTE Modem Kit sends solar output data to Sunny Portal up to four times per day. A 5-year prepaid data plan is included with the SMA Cellular LTE Modem Kit, which can be expanded upon request.
