S-5! clamps do not pierce metal roof paneling, securing roof coatings and weather-tightness guarantees, thanks to their proprietary round-point setscrews.

The S-5-U clamp is by far the most common and flexible clamp offered by S-5! It will work with about 85% of the standing seam profiles made in North America, including the majority of structural and architectural profiles. It can be used on vertically aligned seams as well as most horizontal 2" seam profiles by rotating the clamp 90 degrees.

The S-5-Q clamp was specifically developed to accommodate metal roof panels having a large, round bulb seam configuration up to 29 mm. It will also fit smaller bulb-shaped profiles that were not seamed correctly, allowing the seam to be utilized without modification. The clamp's two-piece design allows it to be easily installed anywhere along the length of the rib, making installation a snap! Just place the clamp on the seam, position the insert piece, and tighten the setscrews.

The S-5-Q is designed for heavy-duty applications such as snow retention. S-5-Q can be used to mount ColorGard® to bulb-shaped profiles, providing the strongest snow retention system on the market. The S-5-Q clamp comes complete with two [2] 3/8"x24 x 0.80" round nose set screws and one [1] M8-1.25 x 16mm Hex Flange Bolt. All hardware is stainless steel. The insert is aluminum. The S-5-Q clamp has been tested for load-to-failure results by an independent lab and is perfect for use with snow retention systems like ColorGard.
