The MATE interface controls and monitor are all-in-one management equipment for your OutBack Power system. You can remotely manage and track several inverter/chargers, MX60s, and any other OutBack power conversion and control parts using a single Buddy.

The MATE and MATE2 have a slew of features that make system administration a breeze. The backlit 3.1" (8 cm) LCD is easy to read in low-light situations. It's simple to access context-sensitive menus and functions with four soft keys. The AC and inverter functions can be accessed quickly using two hotkeys.

Timer-based programming of inverter and charger operation is allowed by a built-in clock and calendar feature, enabling operators to program the device to operate with time-of-day power rates or to restrict a generator's run-time to a particular time period of the day or week. Since all of your routines are stored in permanent memory, you won't have to reprogramme if the device fails or the battery needs to be replaced. The MATE and MATE2 both have an RS232 port with a DB9 jack that can be used to connect to a PC's serial port. Operators can perform tasks such as data logging and a graphical view of the system's operation and output using the optional WinVerter program.
