The PT-100 is an MPPT charge controller that harvests the full amount of usable energy from the PV array and delivers it to the batteries. The MPPT algorithm in the PT-100 finds the array's maximum power point and works there while controlling the output current to 100 amps and the battery voltage to completely charge the battery. Auxiliary relay with programmability built-in for system access. Energy harvest data and battery Ahr/Whr data are stored for up to 255 days using internal data logging capabilities. Features

  • Efficiency - In nighttime mode, the PT-100 has a typical conversion efficiency of 99 percent and consumes less than four watts of fuel. Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) technology improves the performance of PV power generation. Compatible with 12V, 24V, and 48V battery systems, with automatic voltage detection. Regardless of the battery voltage, the PT-100 can deliver up to 100 amps. Over-temperature protection, power derating at high temperatures, PV short circuit, and high PV input shutdown, output over-current protection, and night-time back-feed (reverse current) protection are all included.
  • Flexible - A large PV array of up to 6600W can be controlled by a single controller. Since the PT-100 is currently limited to 100 amps for full harvest, larger PV arrays can be used. For optimal battery charging, even during severe temperature changes, and included external temperature sensor performs automatic battery temperature compensation. Series arcs are detected, indicated, and extinguished by an integrated PV Arc-Fault Circuit Interrupter. The PT-100 is compatible with either a Magnum Panel (MP) or a Mini-Magnum Panel (MMP) (MMP). It provides space for PV and battery disconnect breakers, as well as access to them.
