The Fronius Symo three-phase commercial inverter is fitted with the Fronius SnapINverter hinge mounting system, which allows for tool-free attachment and removal of the inverter from the wall mounting plate and integrated detach, making large solar array installation simpler than ever. The output power ranges from 10 to 24 kW. The NEMA 4X enclosure, along with a wide MPPT voltage range, two MPPT input circuits (note: only one MPPT circuit on Symo 15.0-208-3), and a wide MPPT voltage range provide greater device design versatility even in extreme environments. Since fuse holders come with slugs, you'll need to order the right fuses separately (See Electrical Distribution Parts).
The WiFi Fronius Datamanager 2.0 card can be installed in Fronius Symo inverters, allowing Internet monitoring through the Fronius Solar.web portal on a computer or smartphone. For multiple Symo inverters installed in the same place, only one card is needed. For third-party control and data logging, the inverters have a Modbus interface. The Fronius.Web monitoring portal may also use the free Fronius Solar.TV service to send monitoring data, such as device yield, energy output, and environmental benefits, to a public display.
The warranty on Fronius Symo inverters is 10 years, but it can be extended to 15 or 20 years. Since these transformerless inverters operate with an ungrounded PV array topology, they must comply with NEC specifications, which include the use of PV Wire for exposed array string wiring.
