The H4 PV Connector from Amphenol Industrial Solar Technologies is the most common solar connector on the market today. It can carry more volts, has a higher voltage rating, a higher IP rating, and is entirely interminable with an industry standard connector. No additional locking-clip is required to meet the NEC 2008/2011 requirement.

The pins are included in the 1,000 VDC-rated Amphenol Helios H4 connector, which can be made easily with the right crimp tool on the job site, allowing for custom cables to be made on the spot. To assemble the connector, you'll need a special crimping tool and a wrench kit (See Tools). These connectors are available in packs of 25 and are for use with 10 AWG PV wire.
